TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. wins call for eye-catcher at #emex11
TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. has won the Call for Eye-Catcher at the SuisseEMEX’11. This means that TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. is now one of the six companies that will receive an extra booth at the SuisseEMEX – chosen from among the over 350 exhibiting companies that all had a chance to compete for this honour. The Professor Tell concept and contest will now be able to attract attention and guests at two booths in Halls 3 and 4. “EMEX visitors will be able to play the Professor Tell online game when they come to our booths. You can test yourself to see if you hit the target as often as our marketing texts and translations do,” remarks CEO Roman Probst. “And whoever wants to shoot with a genuine crossbow at the Eye-Catcher after playing the online game can do so at the Online Forum in Hall 4.” Roman Probst, together with Google expert Beat Z’graggen, will give a presentation on the topic of how to win customers using online marketing at the Online Forum.

In addition to the Call for Eye-Catcher, TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. and Professor Tell have also qualified for the Social Media Award from
the Award CC, the national competition for the largest Swiss social media campaigns. The Professor Tell campaign is currently in the Top 20 and thus neck-and-neck with the Gillette and Migros campaigns. The Facebook voting for the first-ever “Public’s Choice” award is open until 15 August 2011. After this date, the best three campaigns will battle for the title until the end of August.

SuisseEMEX – the leading Swiss business-to-business trade fair in the marketing, communication and event branch – is already well booked. There are only a few free spaces left in the exhibition halls. The exhibitors at SuisseEMEX have obviously placed their bets on the winning entry.
Approximately 100 guests attended yesterday’s SuisseEMEX Business Event at the Tolba Factory in Rümlang – including exhibitors, partners, members of the media and those interested in SuisseEMEX’11, which takes place from 23 to 25 August.
Ewa Ming provided top news, highlights and the most important info about SuisseEMEX’11. This included, for example:
- Top keynote speakers at the Marketing Forum (special invitation required)
- Exciting workshops and interest-guided tours
- New: campus talks in the Online Forum
- For early birds: free entry until 10:00 am, including coffee & croissant
- Hosted buyer programme for seminar & event planners (VIP programme)
- Various new topics such as UX design, LiveCom, publishing, social media, Facebook in B2B
Two presentations
Two presentations also added more depth to the event. Andreas Lang from Swiss Post showed how direct marketing is a key supplement to online marketing and achieves success particularly when a direct mailing campaign appeals to as many senses as possible. Matthias Vettiger from Blogwerk AG explained to the audience the role social media plays in B2B and maintained that a strong website provides the basis for all social media activities.
