How satisfied are our customers? The results of our customer survey have now been analysed:

January 14th, 2012

Raiffeisen, Adecco, Schindler, Zürich Tourism and 100 other corporate clients have evaluated the services of TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. Read on to find out why our translation service achieved an average rating of 5.15 out of 6 and which criteria were used to assess our translations, texts and other services.

In the survey, we asked our corporate customers how satisfied they were with the quality of our translations, texts and services. The participants evaluated content, accuracy, tone, terminology and style as well as target-group conformity and customer friendliness. Over a period of several months, the services of our translation company were evaluated using a rating system from 1 (very poor) to 6 (very good). TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. achieved an excellent average rating of 5.15 in the customer survey – which was especially gratifying, as whose feedback is more honest and valuable than that of the customer?

Quality and reliability

Figures alone are not enough, however. Because comments from our customers are also important, there was room for both rating of and comments on the services provided by our translation company. Most of the companies surveyed agree that we always convey the right tone. Some wish, nevertheless, that the translations would stay closer to the source text, while others would appreciate freer translations. In order to comply with these specific requests, we now provide you with the possibility of expressing your wishes regarding your translation by telephone or by completing the „Briefing form” in the case of online orders. This will allow us to ensure that the translation communicates precisely what you want and also that we convey the right tone and style to achieve maximum impact on your target group. Our customers are satisfied with more than just the quality of our services, however. According to our survey, our reliability is also rated particularly highly.

Additional areas that were surveyed included why companies turn to us to have their texts translated and how they hear about our translation services. The feedback revealed two trends. The majority of our customers chose our translation company as the result of recommendations from existing customers, while others heard about our translation services at SuisseEMEX or the Swiss Online Marketing trade fair in Zurich.

Winner of August’s gold coin has been fan of TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. for five years

Thomas Lengenfelder
Thomas Lengenfelder

While on a trekking holiday, Thomas Lengenfelder was surprised to hear of his golden win. „I’m overjoyed to have won the August gold coin from Professor Tell,” said Lengenfelder. He became acquainted with TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. five years ago at EMEX. At that time, Professor Tell had not yet appeared on the scene. „However, when the character was created last year, Roman Probst convinced me to become a  Facebook fan of Professor Tell,” the purchasing and office manager explained.

Lengenfelder was unable to attend EMEX’11 due to illness, but he had already met Professor Tell a year earlier at his EMEX premiere. „Professor Tell made such a positive impression on visitors that you couldn’t pass by without stopping,” Lengenfelder laughed. “And as a reliable and unerring marksman, Professor Tell is the perfect ambassador for the texts and translations from TRANSLAION-PROBST Ltd.”

The ecstatic winner already knows what he will do with his gold coin. „It’s going straight into the safe. With gold prices on the rise, this coin is going to appreciate a lot.”

Professor Tell will be giving out another gold coin in September. Become a fan of his on Facebook for your chance to win!

July winner to give gold coin to goddaughter

August 10th, 2011
Markus Röösli

Markus Röösli

Markus Röösli, winner of July’s gold bullion coin from our very own Professor Tell, once had a beard very much like Tell’s and had also already shot with a crossbow. “My father had a miniature crossbow at home. He would let us shoot with it every once in a while,” the online editor from Zurich said. Markus happened upon Professor Tell by chance while searching for contests online and in social networks. “I studied at the same university as TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. CEO Roman Probst so I knew of TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. and was a Facebook fan of Professor Tell.” Becoming a fan has really paid off for him, and Markus already knows what he is going to do with his gold coin. “When I was a child, I was given a gold coin by my godfather. That’s why I now want to give my prize to my goddaughter.”

If Markus wants to, he can thank Professor Tell in person in the near future by visiting TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd.’s stand at SuisseEMEX’11. “Thanks to free tickets from TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd., I can even do it for free,” the happy winner laughed.
