The winner of Professor Tell’s gold coin in October started practicing with a crossbow very early on

November 1st, 2011
Silas Eichenberger

Silas Eichenberger

Silas Eichenberger became a Facebook fan of Professor Tell just three weeks ago. „When a friend of mine liked one of the items on Professor Tell’s Facebook profile, I clicked on it and became a fan, too,“ recalls Silas. It proved to be a wise decision since the polygraph apprentice is now the winner of October’s gold bullion coin. Although Silas has never shot with a real crossbow, the nineteen-year-old loved playing with a toy crossbow complete with rubber-suction arrows as a child. He has no plans to sell the gold coin but intends to keep it as an investment in a little wooden case behind glass. „I will definitely tell my family and friends about my good fortune and that it really pays off to become a Facebook fan of Professor Tell.“

Professor Tell will be giving away another gold coin in November. Become one of his Facebook fans and make the most of your chance to win!

July winner to give gold coin to goddaughter

August 10th, 2011
Markus Röösli

Markus Röösli

Markus Röösli, winner of July’s gold bullion coin from our very own Professor Tell, once had a beard very much like Tell’s and had also already shot with a crossbow. “My father had a miniature crossbow at home. He would let us shoot with it every once in a while,” the online editor from Zurich said. Markus happened upon Professor Tell by chance while searching for contests online and in social networks. “I studied at the same university as TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. CEO Roman Probst so I knew of TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. and was a Facebook fan of Professor Tell.” Becoming a fan has really paid off for him, and Markus already knows what he is going to do with his gold coin. “When I was a child, I was given a gold coin by my godfather. That’s why I now want to give my prize to my goddaughter.”

If Markus wants to, he can thank Professor Tell in person in the near future by visiting TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd.’s stand at SuisseEMEX’11. “Thanks to free tickets from TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd., I can even do it for free,” the happy winner laughed.

Friend tells gold-coin winner about Professor Tell

July 13th, 2011
Christine Troncado

Christine Troncado

Although she may not have met Professor Tell personally yet, Christine Trincado became a fan of his on Facebook after hearing about him from a friend – and now she has won June’s gold-coin giveaway. “I’m really pleased and I’m going to tell all my friends about it,” commented the Ticino native with Spanish roots.

She has already fired shots at Tell’s target during the online game but she has never held a real crossbow in her hands. The next opportunity to do so will be at SuisseEMEX at the end of August, where fans can meet Professor Tell in person and take a shot with his crossbow. “Unfortunately, I’ll be on holiday then,” the future kindergarten teacher explained, but she already has a spot picked out for her gold coin. “I’m going to display it on my desk so that when I am working I will always be reminded of the luck that Professor Tell brought to me.”

The team from TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. wishes Christine continued luck, especially during her final examinations. The written part has been completed already, and now she just has to teach a sample class for the examiners from Bern.

The 21-year-old plans on displaying the gold bullion coin proudly in her room and will ask an artist friend if she would like to make a frame for it. „That way all of my guests will see the gold coin and I can tell them all about TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd.’s golden history.”

Your level of success in selling your product depends on your texts. But content is only half the battle. The key to more sales lies in how it’s written. The images you create in the mind of the customer with your texts and the emotions that are triggered are what give you success. It’s just like love- music only plays when you say “I love you” with conviction and a heartfelt look in your eyes. But how do images and emotions reach your target audience in another country? They only reach the heart if the translation of your text takes into account the specifics of the language and the preferences of your target group in each country.

So for your message to have its full effect, you have to ask yourself whether your writing is convincing enough. For example, on your website. Our translators are specialised in adapting texts to the target group in the desired language.

Do you want potential customers to find you on Google? Then you must:

- Know which your potential customers search for (see article)

- Consistently use these words on your website

But being found is only one side of the coin. The second question is: Do your website visitors become customers? Of course, you assume that your text is understood by potential customers. But it is written in a way that will get your message across and win the heart of your customers? TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. is Switzerland’s first online translation company with a quality guarantee. So that your translation has the desired effect on your target group, it goes through a tried and tested quality assurance process. Our certified professional translators are experts in various fields and industries and translate into 30 languages.
